22 Memes That Explain Why It’s So Hard to Ask for Help as a Caregiver

Asking for help is hard, especially for caregivers.

It’s uncomfortable; it’s vulnerable; it’s guilt-inducing. And then, what if you don’t even get any tangible support after you’ve put yourself out there?

The truth is, sometimes we don’t get all of the help we need, even when we do ask for it… But we also have to take the first step to ask to get any support at all. It’s unfair, honestly 😂

At the end of the day, asking for help is hard, not getting the help you actually asked for is even harder…

But when you do get it? That’s something else that’s hard to put into words. And we’re so so SO grateful to the people who show up in our lives that way and validate the difficulty of feeling vulnerable that way without making a big deal about it.
