From Caffeinated to Activated!
Every major shift in pediatric care begins the same way: with a family fighting for their child’s needs. The people changing pediatric care aren’t always in hospitals or labs. They’re in homes, at kitchen tables, and by hospital bedsides.
Families are quietly shaping the future of care through every phone call, appointment, and late-night decision…
And researchers want to listen. Policymakers want to learn. But the truth is, there’s still no clear path connecting them to the families who live this reality.
We are changing that!
Caffeinated Caregivers is leading the Activated Caregivers Project, a first-of-its-kind digital home for caregiver voices. This living network will connect pediatric caregivers, researchers, policymakers, and innovators directly, making collaboration easy, equitable, and rooted in lived experience.
Your donation helps lay the foundation for something caregivers have always needed: a space where our stories inform research, guide policy, and shape the systems that serve our children.
This isn’t just about technology. It’s about connection, power, and possibility.
Donate today to help us bridge the gap between care and change.
If you’re a caregiver looking to use your experience to improve the lives of other caregivers across the world, you’re in the right place.

Caregiver Experiences with Reimbursement from Medicaid for Medical Transportation
Caffeinated Caregivers Advocacy Network is conducting this survey to better understand the challenges families of medically complex children face in accessing reimbursement through Medicaid for non-emergency medical transportation across the United States. Your responses will provide valuable insights into state-by-state variations and help inform the public about current barriers and opportunities for improvement in medical transportation systems.
This survey was created by Caffeinated Caregivers Advocacy Network in response to caregiver requests for insights from fellow caregivers about their personal experiences accessing Medicaid’s Home and Community-Based Waiver services for medically complex children across different states. Examples of these services include home health private duty nursing, respite care, home/vehicle modifications, and assistive technology.
