Ah, summer break. Or as medically complex caregivers and parents often think of it: the barren wasteland of regression, minimal support, and also probably fear of heat stroke.
Okay, okay, okay. It’s not all bad. Of course it’s nice to have a change of pace and feel the sun on our skin, but it’s our kids who often suffer from the lack of routine, therapy, and support they often get during the school year.
