When it comes to caregiving, it can be a long, lonely ride when you don’t have other caregiver friendships to keep you going. We need friends who get what we’re going through without having to explain ourselves or dive into all the nitty gritty details before we’re ready. Friends who just get it.
And once you find those friends, it’s a bond like no other. So here’s to caregiver friendships: may we continue supporting each other forever!
(PS, need some tips on finding and creating friendships with other caregivers? Check out this episode on The Rare Life!)
